Background

My experience spans every layer of the software delivery stack — deliberately and completely.

I started building SDKs — the bridge between a complex backend platform and what developers actually consume. That work taught me where abstractions serve the consumer and where they obscure necessary complexity. Every design decision came back in customer escalations. I learned what matters when you own both the interface and the support.

From there I moved to the backend infrastructure those SDKs sat on top of — presence, serverless compute, real-time messaging at scale. Understanding the platform from the inside changed how I thought about everything built on top of it.

As Principal Solutions Architect for PubNub's APAC region I sat across from engineering and product leadership at top-tier enterprises in logistics, food delivery, fintech, healthcare, gaming, media, and communications — and translated their business reality into architecture. A logistics company's real-time tracking needs are fundamentally different from a gaming platform's live leaderboard needs or a healthcare provider's patient communication requirements — even when the underlying technology is the same. That discipline — business needs first, architecture second, implementation third — is what every AxiomForward engagement is built on.

Then I led teams to build our own products. HRMS, Payroll, EduCore school ERP, ERPLite — live SaaS with real customers, real compliance, real operations. Every decision mine. Architecture, pricing, hiring, training, go-to-market, customer support. No escalation path.

Building these products meant going deep into the business domains they serve. HRMS means understanding workforce management, statutory compliance, and employee lifecycle from the inside. ERPLite means procurement, inventory, and financial flows. EduCore means school operations, admissions, and academic administration. These are not domains I have read about — they are business domains I have encoded into production software.

Underneath all of it is engineering depth built from the ground up — security systems, authentication and authorisation infrastructure, networking layers, and real-time data pipelines, built in production where correctness was non-negotiable. I have been on every side of the boundary where software delivery breaks down. That is what I bring into an engagement.

What We Run Today

Running multiple technically complex ventures simultaneously is the clearest proof of what AI-enabled productivity actually looks like in practice.

Udgama builds and sells the Udyamo suite — Payroll, HRMS, EduCore school ERP, Certuring credentialing, and ERPLite. Live B2B SaaS products with real customers, Indian statutory compliance built for correctness, and a team we trained from scratch.

Goljyu Innovations develops drone systems and precision agriculture technology — from firmware through hardware design to the agricultural intelligence platform that connects drone data to farm operations. Successfully prototyped a multi-drone light show system.

Our teams have worked across React, Python, Ruby on Rails, AWS, Azure, GraphQL, Serverless, and bare metal. We meet clients wherever their stack is.

All of this runs with small, agile, technically strong teams — because AI tooling is embedded into how we design, build, and ship. A small team operating this way delivers what would previously have required a team several times larger. This is how we operate today. It is what we help client teams achieve.

Advisory

Through ongoing advisory work with precision manufacturing companies supplying engineering and industrial components to top-tier home appliance and consumer brands in India, we bring direct operational insight into the manufacturing sector — production processes, cost structures, quality systems, and where AI creates genuine leverage on the shop floor.

Teaching and Mentorship

Teaching and knowledge transfer have been part of this work since C-DAC in 2004, where we taught Operating Systems, Databases, and Unix System Programming to post-graduate diploma students.

We serve as Chief Mentors at IndusForward Institute — affiliated with NASSCOM, NIELIT, and Skill India — delivering deep tech training in networking, security, robotics, and embedded systems. Students have won IndiaSkills National Bronze in Cybersecurity and North Regional Silver in Autonomous Mobile Robotics.

We also serve as Chairperson of USMCIL under Aipan Prabodhini Foundation — innovation, entrepreneurship, and leadership development across schools and colleges in Uttarakhand. Our team has represented the region at Viksit Bharat Young Leaders Dialogue at Bharat Mandapam, New Delhi.

How We Engage at AxiomForward

The forward deployed model is not new to us. We spent a decade doing this work at PubNub — embedding in enterprise client teams across logistics, fintech, healthcare, gaming, and media, understanding their business reality, and building systems that worked in their production environment. The technology has changed. The discipline is the same.

We work as hands-on individual contributors — embedded within your engineering team, inside your codebase and delivery cadence — or as the engineering delivery layer behind partner engagements where the partner owns the client relationship.

Where engagements need broader execution capacity, the engineering team at Udgama provides that support.

Core Convictions

How we operate

Our principles dictate which engagements we accept and how we execute them.

01

Strategy without execution is theatre

Slide decks do not solve problems. Working systems do. Every strategic recommendation we make is validated in production.

02

First principles over best practices

We build from the ground up based on physical constraints, economics, and engineering reality — not what is trending on Hacker News.

03

Teams must own what we build

We embed to build capacity, not dependency. We consider an engagement successful only when the client team can maintain and extend the system without us.
